When I woke up this morning, Alexa told me that it was 17° F in the north Atlanta suburbs. That’s insane! I get that it’s a cold snap, but we ain’t about that here. Take that cold weather back to the north where it belongs. We’re in the south where the golden lady rains down her rays upon us so cheerfully and chases the cold away.

Now, at 10:19 AM, we have made it to 31°F which isn’t much better, but at least fingers can be felt and water will soon be thawed. We had the faucets dripping all night in the hopes that we could save money with burst water pipes. They are still dripping and will be while merriment is had this weekend. It will be freezing again.

Hopefully, we can escape this hell soon.
