“….It’s a bitch, sortin out our sordid lives…It’s a bitch, when you come to realize….Grab yourself a box of cracker jacks…you can get a really shitty prize….”

I did another podcast! YAY! I am getting horrible about getting these things up in time. I get to talk about the past two weekends that we’ve ventured into Atlanta for some gay life. This past weekend, we attended a show of Del Shores. He really is a funny man! I loved meeting him and the cast of Sordid Lives. It’s a great movie if you have never seen it. Netflix has it. I don’t know if it is easily found in Blockbuster, if anyone goes there anymore. Netflix is so much easier! I hope you like the show and send some love!

Enjoy the podcast and hope to continue with all of you in the coming year. Happy New Year!

I realize it’s been a while since my last podcast. I guess the holiday got me bogged down. We got through Christmas and then New Year’s Eve last night. It pretty much sucked ass since I had to work, but even when I got home, it could have been better if there had been some ray of light. I got to sleep around 5 am this morning and slept till friends came over for brunch. I didn’t get to sleep late because of partying. I just don’t sleep well lately.

So we begin another year and another decade. We’re now back at saying the year where it sounds better. That was one good thing about coming along at the end of the 20th century. Better sounding years! LOL. That was about all!

Enjoy the podcast and hope to continue with all of you in the coming year. Happy New Year!

Episode 13 of The Gay Life of A Country Boy is full of stuff this week.

After being down for a few days, the Mac is back to full service. I don’t know what went wrong with this thing, but it slowed down to a snail pace. The other half walked me through what I needed to do from his rent’s house in the Alabamas. Chrima time celebrations in the B-HAM is not something I attend. I will wait for my family time in the G-HILL later in February. It will be a good time since the little bro turns 21!

Episode 13 of The Gay Life of A Country Boy is full of stuff this week. I talk about the accident my Grandmother had the other night when she broke her hip. She is now in Mobile, AL at Providence Hospital (very good medical staff there), waiting to get her hip surgery Sunday morning. Hopefully I will get some news soon after about her status. Then I get on things about school and on this cooking thing. I don’t know WTF all that came from, but I got on it and ran. Yall can learn how to make some things. I’ll get on here later today (Sunday) and put up some recipes for the things I talk about.

Have a great Sunday and I hope to have a Christmas show up later in the week. Much love to you all! Merry Christmas!

Last night was obviously cooking night in the Mo house. Travis worked a good long time on something called Croquembouche.

This is another record-while-doing podcast. Last night was obviously cooking night in the Mo house. Travis worked a good long time on something called Croquembouche. I had never heard of it in my life, but he gets Food Network Magazine and the recipe is in there. It looked great while he was making the puff balls and the pudding to insert into them. All was great till he got to the end and had to create some kind of lava-hot sugar mixture. Yeah, it wasn’t an amber color….it was dark molasses. In the end, the creation wasn’t good to eat and whatever we couldn’t dig out of the sugar mess got thrown into the trash. Better luck next time baby!

Other than the cooking, I talk about going to the gym and about the last post to the blog…my promise to get into better shape. January is going to be a bitch since that is when everyone decides they want to look better and get gym memberships. Around February or March, those people will be dropping like flies. Many can never devote themselves to the task. I have before and I can do it again. I also talk about a nasty dream I had that deals with popping blackheads and the creatures that come out of them. I believe me and the roommate Garry had weird dreams after seeing the last episode of Fringe. Gross!

Until later…hope you get to listen while relaxing with an ice cold beer!

Here is the second part to my coming out story. I hope you like it…those that wanted to hear it. This is my first time editing a podcast, and many thanks go to Terminally Single Tim! Thanks, baby!

As I say in the podcast, I have a new email address or the blog/cast. The new address is thegaycountryboy@gmail.com. Send some mail! I would love to hear from you. It makes me feel all fuzzy inside when I know someone is listening!

Much love,

Hello yall!

I had been told in the recent past that I should tell my coming out story. Well, if they only knew how long it was, they probably would have never asked me to tell it. I had to split my story into two parts. Here is the first part from childhood into college. The second part is in the process of being created. I really hope this stuff doesn’t bore people to tears! It’s my story, whether special or not.

Have a great week!

I hope you like the vidcast. Due to overloading the bandwidth, I had to put them on YouTube and post the links. Hope that is OK! LOL
