One of the newest arrivals at Jockstrap Central is the Ballz-Out Jock.  As you can see, the name fits it well.  There’s no false advertising here.  You slip them on and pull your balls out the underside.  I know a few people that would love this and I am happy as can be for them.  They do look cool and there wouldn’t be any sweaty balls.  If that is an issue you deal with constantly and you want relief, go get’em.

The guy in this ad seems to have quite a pair.  I think that would be the key to owning these.  If you are the owner of a nice, big pair of balls, I’m sure these will work perfectly.  On the other hand, if you are the owner of not so large balls, then I’m not sure these would be suitable.  Also, if you have tender ones, you might want to think about how they’re going to feel being pulled through the opening or when they come in contact with something that may hurt them.

This isn’t a chance to put down an item.  There are other products out there with the same idea.  This is coming from a personal outlook as I would not be able to wear them because of various reasons.  I can think of a couple people I would love to see these on.  And since I love a great pair, of underwear and balls, it would only prove to be a wonderful time.

Many people who know me, whether from the Internet or personally, know I have a thing for underwear.  It’s hard to explain and many just look at me like I’ve lost my mind.  That’s not such a strange thing as people do it a good bit.  In all the confusion in my mind, it’s a constant and will probably never change.  I don’t see the underwear business slowing down anytime in the near future.

Funny thing, underwear, as a whole, does not only pertain to what you wear over your crotch, but it takes in undershirts and socks as well.  Since I despise dressing in layers over my chest and stomach, that leaves my other love…for socks.  From ankle socks to over-the-knee, I have a vast array to choose from when getting dressed.  I have my favorites that get first priority, but I run an “equal-opportunity” sock drawer.  They all get a fair shot at being worn.

As you can probably see, I like stripes.  The ones above are more for soccer, or to the rest of the world, football or fútbol.  The ones to the left are reminiscent of the 70s and 80s.  When I was forced to wear them as a child, I hated them.  I thought they were the worst things ever created.  At the time, everyone was starting to wear ankle socks and I thought they were much cooler.  While wearing shorts, I would push my tube socks down to the tops of my shoes and forget I had them on.  Now, I wear them with pride…under jeans anyway!  If it’s hot enough to wear shorts, it’s too hot to wear something this high up on the legs.

I like to wear more “out there” designs from time to time.  Those are usually dress socks.  I don’t wear them often.  They occupy the same drawer as the underwear not included in everyday wear; i.e. thongs, jocks, and compression shorts.  I like the socks offered at H&M.  They are colorful in orange/gray and in yellow/gray.  They’re great for dressing up and thin for good air flow.  I should put them in my day to day choices, but since I rarely wear dress shoes, they get looked over.  I refuse to wear dress socks with tennis shoes.  I’m not elderly yet.

Bringing this to a close, I love to wear long socks in colder months.  Even though I am “cold-natured”, I don’t really like wearing long underwear.  It goes back to the layers thing.  I have a special pair of those made from t-shirt material because my legs don’t get as cold as other parts of me.  In that case, I like to wear socks that cover the colder parts, as seen in this picture with Under Armour American football socks.  These over-the-knee socks give the perfect amount of coverage and feel cozy in the sometimes blistering cold of North Georgia.

It may seem strange to like underwear so much, but it’s no more strange than some people liking hats, scarves, or shoes.  Some do not wear socks just as some don’t wear boxers or briefs.  If you know of places where I can find interesting socks or more 80s tube socks, send me an email at thegaycountryboy@gmail.com and let me know.  I’d love to find more color tube socks as those in the above picture are getting pretty worn out!

The site owner, if I am not badly mistaken, lives in New York and loves underwear.  Not just briefs, but all underwear.  He posts a picture in his underwear very often.  To be honest, I ended up with one of those pairs about 2 years ago!  LMAO!  They feel great!  They are Underdaks.  You know, those underwear worn by hot Australian men in those very well thought out commercials.  My favorite one has a guy in the airport, trying to get past those bothersome TSA agents.  These two just happen to be horned up women and trying to get him naked.  He must be like me and Adam from Dubious Intent Plus podcast as we love to get naked.  It’s just in our jeans!  LOL!

I am hoping that there is another Show and Tell sometime soon.  He had about 10-15 people send in pictures along with a few words the guys had to say.  There were some really nice underwear shots.  Many of them can be found on Twitter.  If you find one underwear lover, the chances of you finding a hundred more through that person is very good.  If you have a Twitter account, you can follow both George and I.  Look at the top left corner of the website and there are links to take you to our streams.

This is Trent!  Say “Hi!” to this perfect specimen of man.  Out of the 45 pictures of Trent featured in the model gallery at Jockstrap Central, this picture is my ultimate favorite and the one I will be using as motivation to get into better shape and get my body pumped.  I have been told my more than one person and a book that I should pick out someone that I could use as motivation and place a picture of them where I would see it every day.  I believe this picture would give me quite a bit of motivation at any time of the day.

I am a huge fan of camo, if you didn’t know that already.  I don’t care what it’s on, I like it.  I have shirts.  I have underwear.  Hell, even my wallet is camo!  When I got the email from Jockstrap Central for these sheer camouflage jockstraps from Male Power, I was instantly intrigued.  And pardon me, but who could look at this promotional photo and not be “turned on” to these great creations.  I am hoping to try these out soon for myself.  I need a jock for the gym and for special times.  I think this could be it.  Since it is made of sheer material, it will be fantastic for letting the boys breathe.  Click on the pic or go to www.jockstrapcentral.com to check out this line and all the other awesome things they have to offer.

This is one of my favorite pairs of underwear.  They are by N2N Bodywear.  When I wear these, it’s as if everything is right in the universe.  The feel is unbelievable against my skin…so you can imagine the look of calmness that overtakes my face when I slip them on.  To get that feeling, you will have to take me at my word and get a pair of them.  They are the Twilight Brief in the Twilight collection.

The reason for my sadness is not from the briefs themselves.  I would say that this pair ranks in the top five of all time favorites.  That is saying something.

The sadness comes from the stitching coming loose from the waistband.  I’ve owned them since the week of Christmas 2010.  That’s almost five months now.  I have underwear in my drawer I’ve owned since 2001.  The only hole in that pair was because I was wearing them while sitting on concrete beside a pool.  They snagged on something.

Anyway, back to the N2N briefs.  I slide the pair off and standing naked in the living room, I looked at the briefs.  I immediately saw light between the waistband and the red material.  “Damn it!” was the first thing from my mouth.  The second exclamation was, “Son of a bitch!”  And why the second profanity?

I looked at the back of the briefs and saw the hole shown to the left.  Two places in the briefs where it was coming loose from the waistband!  I was speechless.  I am not rough on my underwear.  Honestly, they are probably my possessions that I take the most care of.  If I had the time, I would hand-wash every pair.  But being realistic, that would never happen.  I own only two pairs, at the most, I have to wash by hand.  They are special!

Struck with this situation, I was left unsure as to what I needed to do next.  Just throw the pair away?  I couldn’t.  I loved them too much.

Stitch the holes and carry on like it never happened?  What would that get me but a few more weeks/months of enjoyment until the holes appeared somewhere else along the waistband?

I need something more than self-repair.  I need a replacement from the manufacturer.  I feel it is their responsibility to replace a flaw in production.  I am wondering how many pairs sold have done this exact same thing.  Since this occurrence, I have contacted a person who has direct contact with the company.  If this doesn’t get any response, I will try getting in touch with them myself.  No one should have to deal with poor quality from something they like so much.

They are in magazines and they are on billboards.  When you think about it, at one point in time, they were how we knew there were new brands or designs in the stores…at least for those that weren’t able to get to the store often. 

Being back in the woods, I depended on magazine ads for updates on my fetish/interest/motivation and for whatever other purpose it served.  The coolest thing wasn’t the brands being featured, but rather the new designs being created.  It was awesome to see all the color choices.

I used to sit at my grandmother’s house and look through all the magazines she had in the living room.  Most of them were the Ladies Home Journal.  To be a women’s publication, they had a good bit of men’s underwear advertisements.

Let’s look at that last statement.  Why would a company like Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, or Jockey advertise in a woman’s magazine?  That’s because for many husbands, their wives are the ones buying the underwear.  “Go to the store and pick me up a pack of underwear, will ya?”  I can hear it now.

There will always be the best ads that stick into your memories.  Jim Palmer has to be one of the best underwear models in my honest opinion.  I know, there have been many that some would say have been even better.  But, right now, I can’t find the one I really loved.  The guy was hairy and burly.  I dreamed that he would jump out the ad into my living room.

Either buff, hairy, skinny, or just altogether “godly”, we pay attention and we buy the product.  We are in a time now where there are professional athletes all over the place agreeing to take part in the underwear business.  Hey, there is great money in it.  I would love to get one paycheck written to David Beckham from Armani for sitting there in a pair of their briefs.  To be honest, I would love to be the pair of briefs on him, hugging him in all the right areas.

I would love to hear which underwear ads affected you the most.  Which ones got your motor running or convinced you to go purchase those briefs or boxers advertised.  The future of underwear advertising is not clear, but the stage has been set for greatness and more photographic innovation.
